28,000 Methamphetamine Pills Seized and Four Suspects Arrested in Sa Kaeo Drug Bust
On January 29, 2026, Sa Kaeo provincial police conducted a targeted operation against a local drug trafficking network, successfully arresting four suspects and seizing significant narcotics evidence. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 28,021 methamphetamine tablets, 42.18 grams of crystal meth, and assets valued at approximately 2.6 million baht.
The suspects - Boonchana (47), Rattanaporn (47), Chompunuch (33), and Santisuk (20) - were initially apprehended at a barbecue restaurant in Khao Chakan subdistrict. They have been charged with possessing and selling Category 1 narcotics with intent to distribute, as well as illegal drug use.
Police seized multiple vehicles during the raid, including a white Toyota Hilux Revo pickup truck, a white Toyota Camry, a blue Toyota Vios, and a white Honda CR-V. Boonchana faces additional charges of possessing narcotics for sale without authorization.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities continuing efforts to trace and dismantle related drug trafficking networks. All four suspects have been transferred to Khao Chakan police station for further legal proceedings.
