Tissot Launches New 34mm "PRC 100 Solar" Timepieces

Tissot continues to push innovation boundaries with the launch of its new PRC 100 Solar collection for 2026. The iconic line, originally introduced in the mid-2000s, now receives a contemporary update with a new 34mm size, featuring five distinct designs that maintain the brand's sleek and modern aesthetic. The PRC 100 Solar is powered by Tissot's Lightmaster Solar Quartz technology, capable of converting both natural and artificial light into energy. The innovative system uses a sapphire crystal to channel light to a micro-honeycomb solar cell panel within the watch, which then transfers power to the F06.615 Quartz Swiss Made mechanism. The rechargeable battery can operate up to 14 months in darkness, with just 10 minutes of light exposure providing 24 hours of continuous use. The 34mm size is designed to suit women or those with smaller wrists, featuring stainless steel cases with the signature twelve-sided bezel.
