Urgent Rescue: Emergency Delivery for Pregnant Woman in Residential Dwelling

At 5:29 AM on January 30, 2024, officials from the Kusol Dharm Phuket Foundation's New City unit received an urgent call about a woman experiencing sudden labor pains in her residence in Mai Khao Sub-district, Thalang District, Phuket. At the scene, they found a 23-year-old Myanmar woman named Sorn in advanced stages of labor. Rescue workers quickly decided to perform an emergency delivery inside the residence, carefully managing the urgent situation. The operation was completed smoothly, successfully delivering a baby girl. Both mother and child were in good health. The mother named her daughter "Butnang". Preliminary medical staff then transported the mother and newborn to Thalang Hospital for further medical examination and close monitoring.
