Theng and Thanathorn Launch 'Salty Water' Caravan, Showcasing 'Orange Pill' Challenge to Rivals
The People's Party, led by Nattapong Ruangpanyawut (party leader and prime ministerial candidate) and Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit (campaign assistant), launched an election campaign caravan in the final stretch. Starting from Pathum Thani and moving towards the Eastern region, the caravan created an energetic atmosphere with locals bringing snacks and treats. A highlight of the campaign was a Matrix-themed visual featuring Nattapong offering a choice between an orange and a blue pill, symbolizing a political crossroads. Nattapong emphasized that this election is about choosing between past and future politics, urging citizens to vote for both ballots to create a "people's government". He pointed out the complex voting dynamics, explaining that winning a constituency might require 30,000-40,000 votes, while list-based seats could need 300,000-400,000 votes. The party is launching caravans across 8 routes to reach all 77 provinces, believing every vote matters. When asked about potential political alliances if they don't win outright, Nattapong remained open to possibilities, stressing that the primary goal is to break the traditional political cycle by having citizens make a decisive choice through a two-ballot vote for their party.
